Mari is passionate about families, encouraging them to make the most of how they spend the 940 Saturdays they will have with their children from birth through age 18, when most will make the decision to move away to college. Mari has had the experience of parenting from both sides of the fence, in a two-parent household and as a widowed single mother.

She speaks from her heart about being mom and teacher to six children, five boys and one girl. Mari’s workshops for women’s groups, conferences, and home-school support groups include lively discussions and ideas, sprinkled with her wisdom from successes and failures along the way. She is quick to engage her audiences and hold their attention from start to finish.
