The challenge is designed to help families connect the D.O.T.S (Days of Teaching School) between home school and home life, so that what they hope to accomplish with one becomes organic and flows seamlessly into the other. Its purpose is to help you make the connection between your home school and a way of life, and not just something that happens during the weekday.
1. How does it work?
As you complete each activity and begin making connections, there is space at the end of each chapter to record your thoughts or important notes.

2. How long does the challenge last?
Connect the D.O.T.S is divided into 12 challenge categories, with activities that are completed in 12 weeks or 12 months -- your choice!
3. I want to join the challenge, but it's after June 20th. What should I do?
You may join the Connect the D.O.T.S challenge at any time; it's never too late to join!

4. What is the main goal of the challenge?
To help families make the necessary connections that bring laughter and learning back -- or to keep them-- in their home school.

5. How much time is required to complete the challenge?
Each challenge is broken down into several "timed" activities. You make the decision on how much time you will allot to each activity daily, or how much time you'll devote during each month.

6. I'm having trouble downloading the workbook. What should I do?
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, use this link to download the latest version of the software. Once you have installed the viewer, you should be able to open the pdf document. If you are still having trouble, please let us know.

7. Who typically joins the challenge?
Home school families from across the country who want to learn new ways and different ideas to weave their love of teaching with developing and encouraging their child's love of learning. This includes new home school families and veteran home school families alike.
